Selecting vendors for strategic partnerships and ensuring the awareness within the business of the vendor capabilities.
Approval of buying prices and monitoring of the critical path
The person will also ensure regular auditing of the different suppliers through the relevant technical managers and will provide reports on performance. Ensure compliance with ecological and safety standards.
You will need to have extensive sourcing experience with denim product and have a track record of achieving higher standards at competitive prices.

This successful international business are seeking a person to take responsibility for the QC and development of leather and fabric products and to create and implement new processes.
Tor provide guidance to the creative team prior to production and the development of new styles and to advise of potential weak areas. Measure quality performance.
Review of the product lines. Organizing and maintain a leather and fabric library.
The position will also involve extensive travel to suppliers within China and India and will also include working with the warehouse within the UK and with the customer services team.
A sound technical and QA background within the accessories area is required along with a good knowledge of luggage handbag and small leather goods manufacturing.
