This highly successful International Marketing Company are set for further growth and have a vacancy for a Sourcing Manager.
Working within the promotional products area for special event campaigns you will ensure concepts are developed into practical and affordable solutions for the retail customers.
Improve efficiencies of sourcing and the network of suppliers. Liaise with the company's Hong Kong office to recommend new sources.
Maintain records and prepare clear and concise briefs for engineers and suppliers.
Manage the overall development of products and ensure that timescales are met as well as standards and pricing.
This is a fast paced environment and one which requires a person who is able to manage many projects and to ensure accuracy and attention to detail. Sound sourcing experience coupled with a good technical knowledge of a wide range of materials is required such as plastics and metal. Previous experience with promotional products across hard goods/print/ plush etc is preferred.
There will be occasional travel with the position.
