As a Product technologist you will have responsibility for a wide range of hard goods which will include toys and games.
You will work closely with buyers and provide technical support. Ensure specifications are correct and maintain and follow through quality procedures.
Work closely with suppliers.
Investigate complaints on products.
Support new initiatives and ensure standards are maintained with the suppliers and there are clear channels of communication.
You will need to have sound technical and QA experience in relation to a wide range of materials , although it is not necessary to have had previous experience in the toy sector it will be helpful.
A good general knowledge of European legislation and the experience of working with suppliers in many different countries is required.
