Garment Technologist Childrenswear

Established high street supplier is looking for a Junior Childrenswear Garment technologist to join the team.
The ideal candidate will have a background in woven’s and jerseywear as well as some licensed knowledge. Womenswear would also be a bonus.
Your responsibilities will include:
Measuring garments to spec and requesting new samples
Attending fit meetings with customers and replay detailed fit comments to the factories in Europe and the Far East
Checking garment workmanship – prints and embroideries are to spec
Sending garments and fabrics for testing and chase test reports
Suggesting wash care instructions and packaging requirements
Critical path management
Sealing garments
Keeping informed of and be up to date on new legislations
This is a friendly and fast passed environment and the client is looking for a strong technologist with a good eye for detail and must be a team player.
