Store Opening Manager / Store Designer / Store Developer / Store Visual Merchandiser
This successful gift and home accessories retailer is expanding from its established base of stores in UK key cities throughout the UK and Ireland. Currently at just over 15 sites, they plan to add another 20 to their portfolio and need an experienced Store Developer to manage and direct the process from their London based head office.
Reporting to the MD in a close knit team, you will work closely with the VM window dresser and outsourced shop fitters to deliver the store openings. This will involve:
Store Design: designing new stores and refurbishing existing stores with innovatively and commercially from site survey to producing detailed design plans
Project Management: tenders, budget management, obtaining consents, preparing schedules of work, snagging lists, final handover
Visual Merchandising: Planning appearance of stores with relevancy to the season and brand, producing clear layout plannograms, communicating VM guidelines to stores and visiting stores, developing fixtures, overseeing maintenance contractors

Store Design & Development Manager - Europe
This is a high profile, high end clothing retailer with an international presence and a global reputation. They are renowned for their quality clothing and their environmental conscience.
As Store Design and Development Manager for Europe, you will be responsible for managing the implementation of the shop designs for the retail, franchise and wholesale stores. Reporting to both the European Visual Marketing Manager and the Worldwide Store Design & Development Manager, you will:
Manage the store approval procedures for all new store openings and refurbishments
Work with architects and project managers to quality standards
Ensure work schedules are tracked
Maintain up to date budget sheets for each project
Quality assurance
Communicate with a large group of interfaces
Support supplier relations with regard to their roll-out programs
To apply you must have previous experience in retail store design and development, ideally with both retail and wholesale. You should have a Visual Merchandising background prior to this and be ready to step up to European level. You must also have the right to live and work in the UK.
